getting to st.moritz
travelst.moritz is easy to reach from both zurich and milan. come by train, by car or a bit of both. pick your route below and we will see you in the mountains.

step 1 — train from the airport
zurich airport has its own station below the terminal (zürich airport SBB) — follow the signs for "bahn / train". take the train towards chur, usually with one change at zürich HB or landquart.
step 2 — rhaetian railway to st.moritz
from chur, the rhaetian railway (RhB) climbs the albula line up to St.Moritz SBB — approx. 2 h, one of the most beautiful train rides in the alps. trains run hourly.

accessible via the suvretta–randolins chairlift, which starts right next to restaurant chasellas. we will be spending friday on this hill together — it's large enough to warrant coming back to independently!

take the funicular to the top for breathtaking views over the engadin valley and the bernina group. have a snack at the bistro (the leberkässemmel is excellent!), then sled all the way back down. sleds rented at the bottom, helmets at ski shops in town or at saxer sport.

one of the longest and most famous sled runs in the alps — 6 km from preda down to bergün, with the rhaetian railway running alongside so you can ride back up as many times as you like. a proper half-day adventure. about 40 minutes from st.moritz by train.
