the most scenic and stress-free way to arrive. the glacier express and various direct connections make st.moritz easily reachable from both zurich and milan. the station is st.moritz sbb — a short taxi or postal bus ride from both hotels.

from the airport, take the train directly to zürich HB (main station). the airport has its own train station below the terminal — follow signs for "ZUG / BAHN". journey to zürich HB is approx. 10 minutes, trains run every 10–15 min.

take the funicular to the top for breathtaking views over the engadin valley and the bernina group. have a snack at the bistro (the leberkässemmel is excellent!), then sled all the way back down. sleds rented at the bottom, helmets at ski shops in town or at saxer sport.

one of the longest and most famous sled runs in the alps — 6km from preda down to bergün, with the rhaetian railway running alongside so you can ride back up as many times as you like. a proper half-day adventure. about 40 minutes from st.moritz by train.
